Another day and another big step towards the new community stadium at Cuckoo Farm.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have documented the progress of the first part of the West Stand construction and during the course of this week, steelwork has now got underway on the East Stand side of the ground.

As a result, the site is busier than ever, as the concrete bleachers continue to be laid on that first section of the West Stand and the East Stand rapidly arises from the ground.

The West Stand will soon start to expand out towards the A12, moving out from the right hand side of the section shown in our pictures.

CU-FC.com was down at the site again on Thursday to get up close and personal with the latest, including a foray underneath the rapidly expanding West Stand.
