Work has stepped up a level at the Cuckoo Farm site, with construction on the North and South stands well underway.

The North Stand which is the nearest to the A12, and the South which will be the home of the away fans, have been a week or so in progress now and that means that all four sides are currently under construction.

The furthest progressed, of course, is the West Stand and both the West and the East have now had the roof cladding work begin in the past week or so.

What's more, the brickwork at the ground level of the West Stand is now in full swing, whilst the internal flooring is due to start soon as the Barr builders continue to make good strides.

CU-FC.com visited the site on Wednesday afternoon to get the latest shots.
