The U's players paid their annual visit to the Colchester General Hospital on Thursday afternoon to provide a little Christmas cheer.

Every member of the squad headed up to the Childrens' Ward to meet the kids who are likely to be in over the festive period.

They teamed up with SGR Colchester and TenPin, who provided presents for the children ahead of the big day next Tuesday.

And there were also bundles of gifts provided by the brickies from Buildseek, who are currently working on the Cuckoo Farm stadium build.

The presents went down a storm and a strong media presence was in evidence as Doogie and the lads did their bit.

The club would like to thank SGR, TenPin and Buildseek for their part in a very happy afternoon's work.
