The drainage has now been largely installed under what will be the pitch at the new stadium.

Using special technology to pull the drainage pipes through the existing soil, all pipes are now in place ready for further soil to be placed on the surface.

Seeding will then be able to take place for the U's new look pitch - see Tuesday's matchday magazine for more details of how this will take place.

Meanwhile, the link road is continuing to take shape, with lampposts in situ on the completed section of the road and the slope to the Boxted Road entrance also nearly completed.

Glass has also been added to the front of the executive boxes, which also have all now been partitioned.

Partitioning has also taken place on the first floor of the West Stand, to separate out the Directors Lounge, Directors Guest Lounge and the main banqueting suite.
