The information below will provide you with an insight of the club and give you relevant information on potentially joining the U's this season.
Congratulations to all players that played a part in our promotion to the National Premier League South Division last season.
Everybody in the club is very excited about the new challenges that face us this year.
We are very proud of the club we have created at Colchester United Ladies F.C. mixing a positive supportive playing environment with a winning and professional culture.
We will continue to build and grow as a club always looking to progress, challenge and better ourselves to the highest level.
We hope that our mixture of an excellent youth system, experienced senior players, professional coaching, outstanding facilities and equipment gives each player the best opportunity to be the best they can be while also pushing the team forward this season.
History of the club
The club ethos historically and presently encompasses inclusion, education and opportunity, utilising the skills of FA-qualified coaches operating in a professional environment.
This has had the positive effect of producing successful sides and many 'Centre of Excellence' players, including two England U17s and U19s internationals and one Welsh U19s international.
The senior teams enjoyed a fantastic 2006/7 season winning the South East Combination League and achieved promotion to the National Premier League South for the forthcoming season 2007/8.
Colchester United Ladies also won the League Cup and had a great FA Cup run where the team reached the Fifth Round.
The reserve team didn't miss out on the glory either as they won the South East Combination league in this historic season for Colchester United Ladies.

We now have four Centre of Excellence teams from U10s to U16s and an U19s Female Football Academy based at the Thurstable School & Sports College.
The ladies club is managed by Colchester United Community Sports Trust, which has charitable status.
A committee is made up of employees of the Community Sports Trust and other dedicated volunteers. The Centre of Excellence and the Female Football Academy at the Thurstable School & Sports College are also run by the Colchester United Community Sports Trust.
