Constitution
The Management Committee of Colchester United Ladies Football Club produced a constitution which will be regularly reviewed and maintained annually.

The Constitution is the framework for the operation of the Ladies Club and will be upheld at all times.

The purpose of the Colchester United Ladies Football Club is to increase opportunities for women to receive football coaching from qualified F.A. coaches and play safely in structured league-based competition.

The Club ethos historically and presently encompasses inclusion, education and opportunity operating in a professional football club environment. This has had the positive effect of producing successful sides.

The club will offer selected participants the opportunity to play football at the highest level in a competitive environment.

The club will provide appropriate exit routes for players from the CUCST Centre of Excellence and the CUCST Female Academy through the reserve and first team opportunities.

The club will primarily focus on providing a professional football environment for dedicated players, identified by a selection process from the CUCST Centre of Excellence, the CUCST Female Academy and structured trials process each year.

This progression ensures the appropriate exit routes for players within the CUCST 'Women and Girls Football Development' Programme.

The club will also provide equipment, structured coaching sessions, transport to matches and the opportunity for females to become qualified coaches in their own right.

Aims and Objectives
1. To offer women and girls from all backgrounds the opportunity to receive structured football coaching from qualified FA coaches.

2. To offer a professional environment and promote the ethos of Colchester United Ladies FC, 'football comes first', enhancing the attitude and ethics towards the female game.
