Capacity: 750 (+8 disabled spaces)
Tickets: £19 adults, £12 concessions
This is the first of the U's home terraces when looking to the left of the away end at Layer Road. More vocal than in previous seasons, Terrace Three is often one of the most colourful areas of the U's home ground. The front of this area also has capacity for eight wheelchair/disabled spaces.
BLOCK A
Capacity: 199 (+12 disabled spaces)
Tickets: £23 adults, £15 concessions
This is the area of seating adjacent to Terrace Three. This also includes press box seating at both the front and the rear of the stand, as well as capacity for disabled supporters. The rear of the stand also hosts the Police Control box.
VICE PRESIDENTS AREA/BLOCK B
Capacity: 123 + 65
Tickets: See below for info
This is the area used for the U's Vice Presidents Club at Layer Road, with bar access before and after the match. Businesses or supporters having hospitality will also be hosted here. For more information, call 01206 715306 or e-mail commercial@colchesterunited.net.
Block B is immediately in front of the Vice Presidents Area and, as it is a restricted view area, seats in this area cost £15 for both adults and concessions.
BLOCKS C AND D
Capacity: 386 and 217
Tickets: £23 adults, £15 concessions
These two areas host the majority of the seating in the Main Stand and are located immediately behind the home dugouts, which can often provide an interesting perspective.
TERRACE FOUR and FOUR 'A'
Capacity: 796 + 78 seats
Tickets: £19 adults, £12 concessions for terracing, £23 and £15 for seating
This is the terrace furthest away from the visiting supporters after all away fans were moved to the Layer Road end in 2006/7. The Clock End is immediately to the left of this area, which hosts the widest range of ages - so whether you're young or old, you'll find someone to talk to!
BLOCKS E, F AND G
Sponsored by: Tamdown
Capacity: 484
Tickets: £23 adults, £15 concessions in E and F, £20 adults and £14 concessions in G
With the transfer of away fans to their own seating in 2006/7, this area of the ground is now exclusively for home supporters. Part of the new Clock End stand erected in 1995, this is the newest permanent stand at Layer Road.
BLOCKS H, I AND J
Sponsored by: C. J. Firminger Building & Landscaping
Capacity: 333
Tickets: £18 adults, £10 concessions
This is the Family Enclosure seating area and the seating best suited to young families visiting Colchester United. The Family Enclosure standing is immediately to the left of this area.
FAMILY ENCLOSURE
Sponsored by: C. J. Firminger Building & Landscaping
Capacity: 981
Tickets: £20 Family Ticket (Adult, child 12 and under), additional child £5, additional adult £20
This is the remainder of the Family Enclosure, some of which is undercover, the rest of which is open to the elements. The Family Enclosure has become one of the first areas to sell out in recent years.
BARSIDE (TERRACE SEVEN)
Capacity: 730
Tickets: £19 adults, £12 concessions
The traditional home of the U's vocal element - although other areas run them close these days. This is one of the quicker areas to sell out in the ground and is in close proximity to the visiting fans' seating.
BLOCK 1A
Sponsored by: Tiptree
Capacity: 144
Tickets: £23 adults, £15 concessions
New temporary seating structure erected in 2006/7 to allow all away fans to be housed at the same end of Layer Road. This stand is immediately next to the Barside, which allows for plenty of songs to be exchanged!
TERRACES ONE AND TWO
Sponsored by: Bryant Homes
Capacity: 909
Tickets: £19 adults, £12 concessions
Hosted in the Layer Road end, this is where visiting supporters are housed. In an era of all seater stadiums, it has proven to be a popular alternative with many visiting supporters over the years.
