U's loanee Matt Heath is back in contention for a first team spot after recovering from the calf strain that has ruled him out of action in recent weeks.

It was feared the Leeds United defender might be struggling to play for the U's before his loan deal was completed, but he is back in the squad for the match against Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Pat Baldwin is ruled out with his dislocated shoulder but Clive Platt (back) and Medy Elito (calf) have both recovered in time to be considered for the A12 derby encounter at Layer Road.

Kevin McLeod is also back in the squad for the first time since Crystal Palace away, after recovering from illness.

U's: Gerken, Cousins, Ifil, Coyne, Virgo, Heath, White, Balogh, Elito, Jackson, Hammond, Izzet, Wordsworth, Duguid, McLeod, Lisbie, Platt, Vernon, Guy

Karl Duguid is 100/1 to score the first and only goal in the game against Ipswich Town this weekend. To place your bet, click HERE.
