Show Me The Way To United!
The link road leading to the new stadium was confirmed as being named United Way earlier this week.
The name will be officially adopted and appear on street signs and maps, after it was picked by Colchester Gazette readers - and fans of Colchester United - in a special poll over the past few weeks.
It was a close contest, with the winner attracting 35.2% of phone, text and internet votes.
The runner-up, Oystermen Way, claimed 33.2%.
In third place was Aquila Avenue, with 22.3%, and last was Stadium Avenue with 9.1%.
The shortlist of four names was drawn up with help from Colchester school children by the stadium stakeholders' group, a committee of interested parties that includes supporters' representatives.
Dave Murthwaite, chairman of the stadium board, said United Way was "a great name".
"It not only reflects the football club but also the way that everyone has come together to make the stadium happen," he said.
Stakeholders' group chairman Col Tony Barton admitted Aquila Avenue had been his personal favourite.
But he added: "It's a community stadium and it is right that the community has been able to decide."
The new stadium will be on United Way, with the actual name of the 10,000 all-seater facility to be confirmed as the U's confirm details of the naming rights partner once it is secured.
