Three Centre of Excellence teams have returned from Denmark after their Bank Holiday weekend tournament.

It was a winning weekend for one of the squads, with fourth and seventh place finishes for the other two squads.

Because of the difference between European and English age groupings, two U's sides played in the same competition, finishing first and seventh while an older group was the one to finish in fourth place in their competition.

Centre Development Officer Marc Tracy headed the trip and was pleased with how the boys performed both on and off the pitch. 

"It was a great trip for the boys and they were a credit to themselves and the club with their attitude both while playing and while representing the club around the accomodation."

"It gave us the opportunity to learn a bit more about the boys and hopefully, they all took something out of the trip that will help their development in the future."
