Two more teams from the U's Centre of Excellence are off to Europe this week.

Just after three younger sides return from Denmark, another group are off to Switzerland for an international tournament.

In line with European procedure concerning age groups, two squads have been put together to make the trip.

One squad is made up of the boys in the Centre who were born in the 1995 calendar year and the other consists of boys with 1996 birthdays.

The squads are travelling to an Elite Tournament being played at FC Luzern's training complex, involving mostly Austrian, German and Swiss Teams.

In a change to the usual line up of the tournament, the U's are the only English team ever to participate.

The older lads will be competing in a group with Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Aarau and Team Seetal while the younger lads face FC Luzern, Rapid Wien, St Gallen and TSG Frankfurt.

Progression in the group stage could see the U's youngsters face better known opposition, with VfB Stuttgard, Royal Antwerp and Young Boys Bern competing in the other groups.
