Former U's assistant manager Micky Adams could come up against his old side next season, after being appointed as Brighton & Hove Albion's new manager.
Micky, who left the Layer Road club midway through this season to step up his own ambitions of returning to a managerial hotseat, has been given a three year contract with the Seagulls, who will be one of the U's opponents in League One in 2008/9.
He told the club's official website, seagulls.co.uk: "Having worked at the club previously, which was a fantastic and rewarding experience, to get the chance to manage a super football club like Brighton & Hove Albion again was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.
