The U's will take a full squad down to Tiptree United on Wednesday evening as they get their pre-season friendlies underway.

Boss Geraint Williams will take his fit players to Chapel Road for the match against the Jam Makers and that includes the summer signings.

Matt Lockwood, Paul Reid, Matt Heath, David Perkins and Steven Gillespie are all in the travelling party that has only three senior absentees.

Mark Yeates and Pat Baldwin miss the game as they continue their rehabilitation from injury, whilst Kevin Lisbie misses the game whilst his future with the U's continues to be discussed.

However, Phil Ifil does travel as he has been deemed fit after his recent appendix operation.

The game at Chapel Road kicks off at 7.45pm and admission is £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
