The latest sequence in the 'Made In Colchester' film took place on Thursday afternoon with Geraint Williams and co in attendance.

Assistant manager Kit Symons, coach Joe Dunne and half a dozen members of the first team squad joined boss Geraint in Wivenhoe to star in the film.

Ray Hollingsworth is making the film, which aims to capture the social history of Layer Road, and had the U's watching footage from bygone ages in a minuture cinema.

A U's game against Chelmsford City from 1948 was the main feature at the cinema, which is in fact an impressive conversion of a garden outbuilding.
