Gaffer Turns To Experienced Heads
U's boss Geraint Williams admits that the current campaign has been the toughest of his thirty years in football.
The Layer Road club are currently rooted to the foot of the Championship table and Geraint told the Colchester Gazette that it has been a very difficult campaign.
And, as he has looked to battle his way through the tough times, he has turned to the likes of Arthur Cox and Brian Flynn for advice.
"I've spoken to guys like that because they have a wealth of experience and they have been there before," he told the Gazette.
"Being bottom of the league is new to me - and it's not a nice experience.
"No-one is enjoying it but we're all determined to learn from it and come back.
"You learn about the character of the players, staff and yourself."
