Defensive Solidity The Key
With the worst defence in the four divisions at the end of a tough season, the focus should be sorting things out at the back over the summer - so believes captain, Karl Duguid.
The U's conceded 86 goals last season and the U's skipper wants his side to do better next year.
"We need to regroup as a team over the summer, and concentrate on the defensive side of our game for next season," he told the East Anglian Daily Times.
"But there was no point in us just sitting back to defend during the last few matches, because we haven't done that all season. There was no point in starting it at Scunthorpe.
"We wanted to finish on a high, and put in a decent performance, which I think we did. But it was another two points dropped, and the game just summed up our whole season.
"Attacking-wise, we scored three good goals. But we have conceded too many goals all season, and we let in three more sloppy goals on the final day."
