Yet another youth team product given a chance by former manager Phil Parkinson, Jamie is a hustle and bustle striker with an eye for the spectacular.
Jamie, who has now made himself a regular part of the first team picture, played a big part in the youth team's run to the quarter finals of the FA Youth Cup.
Following loan spells with a host of non-league sides, he has featured regularly in the Championship, scoring three goals so far in a super sub role.
The Dagenham born youngster signed a new contract in July 2007 to keep him at the club for another three years.
