Signing for Colchester United adds yet another notch to Luke's East Anglian adventure.
The former Southend man may have been born in Barnstaple, Devon and started his career at Torquay United, but it was for Cambridge United that he really got his footballing career up and running.
His next stop was Roots Hall, where he joined Southend in March 2005. He was a virtual ever present in the Shrimpers promotion season in what was a memorable 2005/6 campaign. After starting in the team, he fell out of favour and ended the 2006/7 season at Leyton Orient, before joining the U's in July 2007.
